A Chocolate Moose For Dinner

A Chocolate Moose For Dinner By: Fred Gwynne

This book is about lots of different sayings. And the girl in the story puts it in a different way than the words really mean.  This is a good book because of the pictures. They help to tell the story and they are super hilarious. I think that everyone all ages will like it.   My favorite saying is "Mommy is going to tell me about Santa Claws"  Santa in the picture has disgusting claws on his hands and feet.

The main characters are Spider and Fly.  The spider meets the fly on the road. He invited her to his hole. The parents tell her that you will get eaten. But she did not listen. He took her to dinner. Then he was still nice to her. Spider said shy would like this dinner but Fly thought it was not goo. If you want to find out the rest you will have to read it.  I like the pictures in the book because you could see what was happening in the book without reading the words.  It was just a good book to read. It would be good to read to a class, but they should be an older class.
